Pfalz hike: Bad Bergzabern to Dörrenbach - 10 km, 300 hm

We're going to a beautiful village in Pfalz called Dörrenbach. On the way we'll visit a church in the forest and a tower with nice views of the surroundings. There is a very nice cafe in Dörrenbach that we are going to visit.
This is a medium difficulty hike. We should be back in Bad Bergzabern by 5pm, allowing you to get back to Karlsruhe before 6pm.
If you want to have a somewhat shorter hike you can take a bus back from Dörrenbach (saving maybe one hour of walking).
Getting there:
- From Karlsruhe Hbf, take the RE (direction Neustadt) on platform 1, departing 11:06,
- change to another train in Winden (on the same platform)
- arriving in Bad Bergzabern at 11:51
- Coming by car? Join us in Bergzabern Bahnhof.
What to bring:
- water and snacks
- weather-appropriate clothing
- sturdy shoes
