Christmas Day Paddle on the Orange River to see the manatee

Let’s celebrate Christmas Day paddling with the Manatee on the Orange River this is fun paddle watching these gentle giants. Be on the water ready to paddle at 9:30. We will launch at the Manatee Park kayak launch, head downstream (to the right) and see the manatee we will take our time and paddle to the lake after the bridge, and onto the Caloosahatchee River if it is calm. This is an out and back paddle so you may turn around anytime please let someone know you are turning around.

Parking is $5.00 Lee Parking pass is excepted here.
Bring PFD, water, snack/lunch.

We can head to the Boat House Restaurant (it is 6 minutes away from the launch) afterwards to eat and drink if anyone is interested. Yes they are open on Christmas Day, outdoor seating is available.
