Hi everyone,
We're starting this year with an Irish modern classic 'Small things like these' by the famous writer Claire Keegan.

Adapted into a movie and starred by the famous actor Cillian Murphy
Small things like these is a story about a man named Bill Furlong who's a coal merchant and a family man.

Set in 1985 in a small town in Ireland and during the weeks leading up to Christmas the busiest season of the year, Bill makes a discovery which forces him to confront both his past and the complicit silences of a town controlled by the church.

In this session we will be covering the entirety of this book so i expect you all to have finished the book before the session

I encourage you all to join us in this session since we will be taking a glimpse onto modern Irish literature.

Until then, take care.
