Details

This is a beautiful winter hike to an icy subalpine lake surrounded by glacier-carved mountains. 7.4 miles roundtrip with 2350 feet of elevation gain and a max elevation of 4200 feet. Microspikes or similar traction devices are needed. An America the Beautiful (National Parks) pass is required in each vehicle. Bring your 10 Essentials, lunch, and a hot drink and warm layers for our lunch stop: it is usually cold and windy at the lake.
