Holiday Raptor Walk

Forecast is for 61 degrees. The bird gods are calling! We'll take a leisurely 2 mile out and back. We'll stop for 1/2 an hour along boulder creek and keep our eye on the lookout ridge to our north where raptors fly. I am inspired by last Sundays raptor palooza at Waneka. Where people saw , a prairie falcon, goshawk, and golden eagle !

The ponds should also be mostly ICE free after this warm weather and a few of our winter holdout ducks will be hanging around.

Maybe even Santa will join us? Who knows.

Meet at the North Teller Farms trailhead , 1/2 mile west of 95th , on Valmont road.
