We'll ride to the Hoover Dam this Friday. The ride will start at 9 AM from the RMLT trailhead at Railroad Pass (above the gas station) and head counterclockwise to the big bike at Bootleg Cyn, then around Boulder City, then to the railroad tunnel hiking trail, and finally down to the dam. This ride will be about 48 miles long with about 3300 feet of climbing. We'll stop at the dam and the toilets on the railroad hiking trail for water and restrooms. If you have a gravel bike, bring it, but it's not necessary. We've successfully ridden it on road bikes with 30 or even 25 mm tires.

Downloading the route to your device is recommended.

Note that this shows only the route down to the dam, not the return to RR Pass. We can retrace the route entirely for a total distance of about 48 miles with 3300 feet of climbing, or we can skip the Boulder City part on the return for a total of around 40 miles and around 2800 feet of climbing.

IMPORTANT: By your RSVP on Meetup OR YOUR PARTICIPATION you agree to not bring any type of claim against the Officers, sponsors or volunteers associated with this event.

If you are sick or feel bad, please stay home.

As we already do, ride routes will be posted so you can ride the route on your own if you choose not to ride with the club.
