About us
First, a big thank-you to Joe, who kept this group alive and moving! He built the foundations and the community vibe making it worth continuing. Thanks!
I’m not here to reinvent the wheel, just to give it a little more mileage. This group is for people 40+ who still want to get out of the house, laugh, try new things, and meet good people in no-pressure settings. Singles, couples, introverts, and extroverts. If you’re a grownup who still has a pulse and a sense of humor, let's make this the place to be.
Expect a mix of:
- Coffee meetups and casual happy hours
- Game nights, live music, and local events
- Walks, easy hikes, and “let’s just go do something” outings
- The occasional “only in Vegas” adventure
This is not solely a dating group or a dedicated networking space. If romance or business happens, that’s great. The mission here is simple: real connections, real conversations, and a reason to look forward to something on your calendar.
But this shouldn’t be a spectator sport. If you’ve got an idea for an event, bring it.
If you’re willing to co-host or be a “regular” at certain meetups even better. The best version of this group isn’t one person running the show; it’s a bunch of us throwing in ideas and showing up for each other.
The plan is to build some reliable “anchors” you can count on, like a recurring coffee meetup, a rotating happy hour, or a regular social outing, then layer in new, fun, slightly random events to keep things interesting.
If you’re ready to get off the couch, meet new people, and remember that life after 40 is supposed to be lived, not just streamed, then jump in; the water is fine.
Welcome to Las Vegas Active Adults 40+!
