Join me for a book club on It Didn’t Start With You, a powerful exploration of how inherited family trauma shapes our lives and how awareness can begin to interrupt those patterns.

Depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and other struggles may not start with us—they can be inherited through generations. It Didn’t Start with You reveals how unresolved family trauma can shape our emotions, behaviors, and even gene expression. Drawing on groundbreaking research by experts like Rachel Yehuda and Bessel van der Kolk, the book shows how hidden emotional legacies can influence our health—and how awareness can begin to heal them.

Together we’ll gather for three online Zoom meetings to reflect, share insights, and deepen our understanding of how these teachings apply to our own lives. This will be a discussion group style format, where your personal reflections and learnings are the heart of our conversations.
