We're reading Oliver twist and going to the Dickens Festival!
Escape to Victorian England at the annual Riverside Dickens Festival, hosted in historic White Park, nestled in downtown Riverside, CA.

📖 This Year’s Theme: "Oliver Twist" – A Tale of Justice & Belonging Join us as we honor the enduring legacy of Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist, highlighting themes of resilience, community care, and social equity. Expect performances, panel discussions, and art inspired by Oliver's journey through hardship, hope, and home.
🎭 Festival Highlights Include:
Character reenactments & costumed parades
Inclusive storytelling circles featuring disabled and youth voices
Historical exhibits on poverty, justice, and reform in Dickensian England
Community mural project inspired by “Please sir, I want some more”
