What we’re about

This is a group that my husband and I have created for people to be able to gather at the gigs that we have when we are playing live music! We will post all our gigs, and you can decide whether you’d like to stop by. Our website is JDANDFAM.com. @jd_and_fam on IG. JD & Fam on FB. We are a family band based in Camarillo. Mom, Stepdad, and Son are all in the band. Hoping to make some new friends. And then also maybe some band followers would always be nice too.

Sunland Vintage Winery, Thousand Oaks , CA
Ames & JD will be on acoustic and also an electric hollow-body jazz guitar. They will have some special sit-in guests: Their son Tyler on vocals, Sam Glenn on Sax, Jim Flynn on Cajon. Sam used to play with The Beach Boys. He is on two of their albums including Good Vibrations. JD used to tour with many famous R&B artists. There is a five dollar cover, which makes it possible for the winery to have live music. They do not have a food menu however they do allow outside food to be brought in, picnic style.

Bombay Bar & Grill, Ventura, CA
We will be doing our groove machine 60s and 70s dance tribute during the first and third set. On the second set, we are going to do our Salina/Santana tribute. There will be a professional videographer there making a video for us, so if you would like to be in the crowd, you could be in our new music video!!! No cover. See you there!
