Rock, Folk, Blues, Pop, Jazz, and sometimes Country! This group thrives on the energy of the live performance of singer-songwriters, classic bands, and up and coming musicians. We often patronize venues without reserve seating; 9:30 Club, Birchmere, Rams Head Live, Jammin Java and the lawns at Wolf Trap, Merriweather Post, and Jiffy Jube Live. Didn't buy an advance ticket online, that means you didn't get ripped off on the service charge. Need a night out with nice people? Sign up last minute and buy a ticket at the door from the house or from someone with a lame no show friend. Rain or shine, lets go see and hear some great music and drink a little beer and wine.

Star Hill Biergarten
This local band is pretty new and starting to get some interest. They have their first show at the 9:30 club this weekend as an opening act. Rock Creek Kings is a D.C. based rock 'n' roll band. The band fuses folk, funk and energetic driving rock into one sound with mesmerizing saxophone and guitar solos and powerful vocal harmonies.
It was recommended by a new member that we should look at some shows at the Star Hill Brewery biergarten in Tyson's corner. How about a little mix of New Orleans jazz and reggae on a Thursday night in late July. It has been a few years since we have seen Trombone Shorty and New Orleans Ave, and he is always a treat. You might have caught Shorty at the Supper Bowl this year. Also on the bill is our favorite Florida blues man JJ Grey. Dumpstahpunk is also a fabulous New Orleans based funk band.
