Today we can practice our portrait and posing skills. We have tips in plenty on-hand and willing subjects!

Join us at the Horniman's beautiful Butterfly House in Forest Hill. It is an inspiring location, the grounds, the museum and the butterfly house, where you can get up close to hundreds of butterflies in the tropical indoor garden.

We'll look at macro photography, shoot butterflies and afterwards we'll wonder the grounds where the flowers and wildlife will be our subjects. We can take advantage of the grounds, a museum and everything this amazing location has to offer.

We will have some extension tubes to practice macro photography (see below) for anyone who wants to try them.

Long exposure photography is a genre in photography that is associated with fine art photography due to the surreal effects long exposure photography can bring.

We will be providing all the filter equipment including the ND filters, graduated filters, holders and adapters so you'll be able to create similar effects to this image.

Today we are bringing the PLATYPOD DELTA for you to try - the tripod you can use when you can't use a tripod! Platypods are super small and light, will fit in your back pocket and are great to have as part of your kit when you can't use a traditional tripod. So leave your tripod at home!
