Description: Embark on an expedition of discovery through the southwestern terrain of Lantau Island. Commencing at Shek Pik Reservoir, this hike offers a glimpse into the past as we encounter historical landmarks like the Lantau South Obelisk and the fascinating Sham Hang Lek foundations. Traverse the timeworn pathway of Fan Lau village, where ancient houses whisper tales of yesteryears. Be prepared to be enthralled by the captivating beauty of the pristine beaches that grace our path. And if fortune smiles upon us, we may even witness the graceful presence of pink dolphins near the shoreline. Join us for an unforgettable encounter with nature's wonders.

What to bring:

  • 3-4 liters of water
  • Snacks to eat along the way (sandwich, fruits, nuts, etc)
  • Hiking shoes with good support
  • Sunglasses
  • Headgear (cap/hat)
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug Spray
  • In case of Rain: plan accordingly

Toilets: There are at least 2 toilets along the way.

Stores: Please come prepared with all your food and drinks so we can quickly hop on the bus upon arriving at the Tung Chung MTR

Time: 10:00 am (SHARP!)

IMPORTANT: Out of respect to the members that arrive on time, we will only be able to wait a maximum of 5 minutes. Should you arrive after 10:05 am, I will no longer be answering phone calls or responding to messages as I need to give me time and attention to those that have arrived on time.
