This group is for anyone 50+ years young who is looking to get out & about and make new friends. Let's have some fun together!
We dine in (potluck). We dine out. We walk. We hike. We go to the theatre. We go to the movies. We attend local events. Those are just some examples. We try to be as diverse as we can. It's all based on attendance.
We welcome event ideas. If there is something that you would like to do and/or try, please send the group a message or send a private message to the Organizers. We will do our best to turn everyone's ideas into an event.

Post Modern Jukebox returns to the Academy
The Academy Center of the Arts, 519 Commerce Street, Lynchburg, va, USScott Bradlee created Postmodern Jukebox out of a basement in Queens in 2011. His goal was simple: to remake the pop hits of today into the classic sounds of the legends of yesterday. Miley Cyrus became The Platters. Bruno Mars became Frank Sinatra. The Spice Girls became The Andrews Sisters. Guns ’n’ Roses became Bessie Smith.
Now, nearly a decade later, Postmodern Jukebox has grown to become a pop culture mainstay, having played over a thousand shows on six continents worldwide.
