### Welcome to Taiji Essence: North side Practice Group
This group was created to nurture a community of open-minded martial artists and movement practitioners—especially those drawn to the deeper essence of Taiji, Qi gong, and internal martial arts. Whether you train Chen style, another lineage, or are exploring new paths, this is a space to share knowledge, support each other, and stay connected to meaningful practice.
Our mission is to help every member grow—even if their path looks different from yours.

This group welcomes all styles and skill levels. Whether your roots are in Chen Taiji, Qi gong, meditation, or other arts—this is a place for learning, not judgment.

All members are expected to engage with courtesy and humility. Differences in training methods are opportunities, not obstacles. Leave ego at the door.
Practice, Not Preach
Share from experience, not superiority. Posts and comments should support inquiry, reflection, and genuine growth—not one-size-fits-all instruction.
Stay in Harmony
Disagreements may arise, but they must remain respectful and grounded in dialogue—not argument. We're here to deepen practice, not win debates.
Permission Before Promotion
If you’d like to share an event, workshop, or class, please get approval from an admin first. This keeps our group focused and useful to all.
Be Real, Be Present
Your voice matters. Whether you’re a day-one beginner or a lifelong student, we value authentic contributions that come from lived practice.

As the seasons shift and routines return with the start of fall, it’s the perfect time to reset, breathe, and reconnect with your body.
Join us for a FREE community wellness event in the park, where we’ll explore the powerful connection between Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) and the foundational movements of Tai Chi. These simple, graceful exercises are designed to restore energy, improve balance, and bring calm to both body and mind.
Whether you’re completely new or have dabbled in Tai Chi before, this event is a welcoming introduction to the deeper health benefits of the practice. You’ll learn accessible movements rooted in centuries of tradition—perfect for beginners and open to all ages.
