Trip to Lavanda Fields! JULY 04th

Esta vez vamos a visitar una de las maravillas de nuestros campos, una joya de la naturaleza, se trata de la floración de la lavanda en los campos de Brihuega (Guadalajara), con más de mil hectáreas de cultivo, un verdadero espectáculo visual.

Daremos un paseo por el pueblo para poder ver el casco antiguo de Brihuega, declarado Conjunto Monumental Histórico-Artístico en 1973, y ver su muralla del S. XI-XII y nos pondremos después en camino hacia los campos de Lavanda para disfrutar de ellos al atardecer, que es cuando las vistas son más espectaculares y baja además el calor.
Además, disfrutaremos del ambiente festivo de la localidad, ya que por estas fechas se realizan fiestas y conciertos en el pueblo.

This time we are going to visit one of the wonders of our countryside, a jewel of nature, the flowering of lavender in the fields of Brihuega (Guadalajara), with more than a thousand hectares of cultivation, a real visual spectacle.

We will take a walk through the village to see the old town of Brihuega, declared a Historic-Artistic Monumental Site in 1973, and see its 11th-12th century walls, and then we will set off towards the lavender fields to enjoy them at sunset, when the views are most spectacular and the heat is at its lowest.
We will also enjoy the festive atmosphere of the town, as at this time of year there are festivals and concerts in the village.
