Join us on this lovely winter walk, going sharply uphill right at the start, then out along Froggatt Edge with fabulous views of the valley towards Chatsworth House. Dropping down to Calver, we walk back along the Derwent River along riverside, farmland and woodland paths.
If it’s wet and windy it’s quite open countryside, so good winter clothing and sturdy boots will be needed. It will be very muddy in places, with uneven ground and paths along the route.
Meet Point: Near the ticket barriers, or on the platform at Piccadilly Station. Alternatively, meet the group on the train, or at the Walk Start at Grindleford Station.
