This group is an invitation for workshops, events and retreats based on meditation, self-knowledge, movement, dance, feminine and male circles, plant-based nutrition in Porto.
The purpose of the events change all the time to work different aspects of ourselves, sometimes more introspective with silence or writing, sometimes more focused on body release with free movement and dance.
Sharing circles, music, support and care are always present.
The events take place in Quinta da Arroteia - Meditation House Porto, a lovely and quiet place surrounded by nature so that everyone can be, feel, explore the inner journey and share the experience in a safe and comfortable environment.

BIO
Inês is passionate about life, its mysteries and endless possibilities of exploration.
Life took her from communication and production of artistic events and content to the production of human development events.
She is bringing to the world some of the healing tools that support her self-knowledge: meditation, writing, dancing and natural cooking.
Always studying and learning with the wisdom of those who inspire her, but above all through giving her whole body to life. There is nothing that teaches Inês more than this experience that is living and exploring all its magic.

Nuno leads meditation classes, workshops, courses and 1:1 sessions, as well as retreats.
His full time mission is to promote meditation and inner journeys as part of the cure and liberation, and help others integrating it in their daily lives.
His sessions follow the way of self knowledge, the silence and the emotions, as well as of being with what the reality is in the present moment.
He develops and applies the methodology of Meditative Coaching and he wrote a book named “A Prova do José” and expanded through Economics, PNL, Life Coaching and Master of sports training.
Nuno looked for answers to his existential anxieties in all that society promotes to find out that experiences turned to the material world yet important are ephemeral.
By exploring techniques of self knowledge, he started his journey “back home”, but it was through the practice of the diverse methodologies of Meditation that he started a deeper and more authentic relationship with himself and the world around him.

The Food and I - a conscious, intimate and free relationship
Food has direct healing or disease-fighting effects; of pleasure, comfort and sustainability; of clarity and tranquility or of nervousness and anxiety. Food has the potential to support and to save a life. And the food choices we make at each moment determine a significant part of the way we live, and in the long term lead the lives of each of us and those who share meals with us to different paths depending on the food choices made each day.
The relationship between food and ourselves is by definition a primordial, natural, organic, ancestral relationship. With sensitivity and self-knowledge, over the years we learn to understand what our body needs, when and why, honoring and thanking each time food is at our service, how food enhances our energy and vitality, supports our physical regulation and emotional center, provides for our rest and the regeneration of the entire organism.
Although it does not replace personalized medical and therapeutic monitoring, people with compulsive eating, attachment to pleasure and sensations promoted by food, as well as aversion to food, people who are overweight and have difficulty changing habits, excess control, unstable diets or permanent fear of gaining weight are welcome and accepted in this internal investigation.
At the end of their graduation, medical doctors proclaim the Hippocratic oath, which has become immortal: “Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food.” What will you claim for your relationship with food, your mind, and your body?

Who are we beyond the constant noise, the need for company, the permanent external stimulus?
PRESENTATION AND PURPOSE
Sooner or later we are invited to find stillness within ourselves, in the silent comfort of our own presence and existence.
In this course, we explore in a practical way our relationship with silence, developing reciprocity and openness so that silence expresses in us, emerging from itself. The process is gradual over six months, supported by a growing relationship of intimacy with ourselves and with the world. Although the course prioritizes meditative practices in silence, it is not a silent retreat, as moments of sharing will be widely promoted.

The Deep Silence meditation course (3rd edition) contemplates meditation practices in silence, exploring different positions, times, spaces, internal and external focuses.
We complement the journey with writing, drawing, movement and sharing, in a place of understanding, openness and non-judgment.We use the body as a reference, the attention as a compass and breathing as a flow in this permanent encounter with the silence that lives in us.

We recognize the tendency to want our lives to be our way, according to our preferences, goals, rules, and limits. We prefer to feel in control of the context in which we live, attentive to the environment around us, and we want to know what we can count on each day, whether it's the behavior of our family or colleagues, the routines in our home and the actions of our children, the rhythm of the city where we live and the events in our country.
Let's begin by understanding why we control or want to control life so much, and we'll explore why it's difficult to let go of control. The comfort of the expected and control by the known can be tempting, but it's more likely to narrow and make our lives more rigid in the long run. Is this truly what fulfills us as evolutionary beings?
The two-day program will be a continuous and evolving process, structured in a complementary way so that the pillars of control that reside within us are touched and transformed. It happens during the Autumn falling leaves as a nature reference for our bodies to let go what does not serve us.
