What we’re about
Solemates Norfolk Walks is a well organised and a friendly group of people with a positive, uplifting vibe. We walk mainly throughout Norfolk on Sunday morning's plus some evening walks during the summer months and social events where possible. Walking helps to create an improved mood and general overall wellbeing with like minded people with the added bonus of getting to see some parts of the countryside that perhaps you would not otherwise see yourself.
One issue we are strict about is no dogs due to possible cattle problems. If you would like to find out more about us then please take a look at the website www.solematesnorfolkwalks.com or joining the facebook page on the website for photo's etc.
We welcome new faces who are keen to walk to try out walking. Currently the yearly membership is £25.00. However, please note the walks are not a stroll but are more brisk at around 3mph. Some people prefer this but it is an individual choice and considered more beneficial for you.
All you need to bring on the walk is some snacks/drinks for a break and to wear suitable attire.

Wreningham walk 7 miles🥾🥾
Wreningham Village Hall, Mill Lane, Wreningham, GBPlease meet/park at Wreningham Village Hall, Mill Lane, Wreningham, NR16 1AN ready for a prompt 10.30am start. We need to donate £1.00 per person towards village hall funds today please. (I will put this in their post box at the hall on the day)
The walk is a pleasant walk. We start walking out of the village along Toprow over Flordon Common, including a bit of the Upper Tas Valley path too in Hapton and then returning via Fundenhall/Ashwellthorpe. We will have a break at one of the Churches on route, so please bring a packed lunch for this. On our return we can a drink or two in the popular Bird In Hand pub in Wreningham. Christmas meal, Full up! Fox pub, in Hevingham. NOW FULL UP! 🎄🎁
Hevingham Church, NR10 5QU, Hevingham Church, Norwich, GBPlease join us for our yearly Christmas meal, sit down for 12pm, please choose a starter or a main from the Foxhouse steak menu, Gluten free or the festive menu. do not look at the baguettes/lunch plates/children's menus. Desserts can be ordered on the day for £8.50. I need to know your choices, and have payment by November 14th at the latest.

Brisley/Beetley Walk and drinks 7 miles 🍁🍂
Brisley village hall, BRISLEY VILLAGE HALL, GATELEY ROAD, NR20 5LR, Norwich, GBPlease meet/park at Brisley village hall , Gateley Road, BRISLEY, NR20 5LR ready for a 10.30am start. The toilets should be open and we will need to donate £1.00 per person towards village hall funds today please. The walk is a circular walk taking in woodland, tracks over towards Beetley Church for a break on route and return. So, please bring snacks/drinks for the break at the Church. On our return to the cars we can head for the Railway Tavern for drinks. This will be the last walk before Christmas, until Sunday 28th December.
