About us
It is very important that we all make sure we can receive MeetUp messages on the fly in very short time.
Sometimes its necessary to contact members about an event - and sometimes that's within short hours of the event (like an hour or 2 or 4 before the event) - to check that you're still attending or whatnot. We've had where our members do not get messages - or don't respond to them - and as I hope you understand, that makes it close to impossible to run this group of over 500 people well enough to be fair to all of us and certainly to be considerate of the restaurants we attend.
I like to think of us all as friends - even if we're still to have met - and its best if we are all on that same page.
Join us to discover, and rediscover, restaurants in the Atlanta area. If you are up for some adventure, we will also plan some great foodie trips beyond Atlanta. So great food, great conversation and new friends? A winning combination. We keep our events small, so expect dinners for 4-8 members only.
What do we ask in return? That you check out the menu and check your calendar before signing up. No last minute cancellations, and definitely no "no-shows". It's unfair to the rest of the group AND to the restaurant. Anyone canceling same day or not showing up will be removed from the group. Policies may change for certain events so make sure to read the fine print!

246 (8, who do we appreciate?)
no. 246, 129 East Ponce de Leon Avenue, Decatur, GA, USI've been to 246 eons ago and remember loving it. I think I just had a steak. I want to go back, and I look for opportunities to hang out with friends. Please join me?
The restaurant webpage if you care to look: 2 4 6
From their website:
246’s reimagined direction marks a new era for the Decatur gem that pays homage to the old-school, Italian dining scenes of yesteryear.
Reminiscent of mob-style destinations with scenes of guests enjoying the likes of spicy rigatoni vodka & a bowl of meatballs in gravy in mind, the menu features a remixed, throwback to classics like a classic house-chopped salad, calamari marinara, fried house-made mozzarella & cheesy garlic bread al forno for the table, Nonna-approved pizzas and pastas, secondi crowd-pleasers like chicken al limone, shrimp scampi, bistecca alla Fiorentina & sizzling flounder piccata — plus a playful dessert menu, classic cocktails and a carefully curated wine list of American and Italian standouts.
