Marty Supreme, starring Timothée Chalamet, is about a fast-talking, ambitious Jewish kid in 1952 New York's Lower East Side, who hustles his way through life, using his incredible table tennis skills to chase fame and fortune, navigating family obligations, romance, and dangerous schemes while trying to become a world-class player in a sport America barely takes seriously. Marty Supreme is loosely based on the real-life, charismatic table tennis hustler and champion Marty Reisman.
