Tea, reflection, and a practical way of listening to the inner life

This afternoon is a small, quiet practice space built around one simple question: which of my inner qualities is asking to be cultivated right now? We gather to work with the Soul Qualities Deck—a set of illustrated cards, each naming a particular inner soul quality (clarity, courage, and others). The cards are used as a mirror for reflection, not as a prediction.

We begin with organic tea prepared and shared in an unhurried rhythm. Tea is the threshold: it slows the pace, steadies attention, and brings the room into a common tempo.

From there, we will watch my video introduction to the Deck—what it is, how it’s structured, and how to approach it with intelligence and insight. We’ll look at how an image can hold meaning without demanding belief, and how interpretation becomes useful only when it leads to honest self-observation.

Then the afternoon becomes practical. Each participant will:

draw a card with a simple, guided method

sit with the image in quiet visual contemplation

use structured prompts to translate what emerges into language, insight, and a small next step

share, if they wish, within a respectful circle—listening carefully, speaking plainly

The aim is not consensus, certainty, or quick transformation. It’s for people who prefer nuance over noise—who want a grounded way to notice patterns of thought, feeling, and choice, and to refine them gently over time.

No prior experience is needed. Bring a notebook if you like.
