Details
Everybody's welcome!
A ride on the Western suburbs mainly on bike paths and trails bordering Kororoit Creek .
Trains to Jacana station (Craigieburn line) runs every 40 minutes or so, but may not go through the city loop, check.
Trains from Williams Landing back to Melbourne run every 20 minutes
Both journeys require Myki card.
Food wise, carry your own although there are many food shops on the way. We may have lunch in shops near Caroline Springs.
Ride end time is a guesstimate only, so plan your day activities accordingly.
Check route here: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/42894109
The terrain is mostly sealed (98 %) or good compacted gravel and the route undulates a bit, enough to warm you up and keep those lungs pumping.
So bring your in good condition bike, NOT SUITABLE for road bikes with thin tyres, we suggest 30+ mm tyres.
We'll keep a steady pace, stopping often to regroup.
No one left behind policy applies.
