Mornington Peninsula weekend: Ten Minutes By Tractor and Barragunda Dining
Details
This event is for Fine Diners who fancy a weekend on the Mornington Peninsula this winter. By waitlisting for this event, you are committing to joining two lunches:
- Sat 8 August - 12pm Barragunda Dining ($160 - 5 courses)
- Sun 9 August - 12pm Ten Minutes By Tractor ($195 - 5 course Substance Menu)
Note that the venues may change set menu prices between now and the booking date and any updated pricing will apply.
These lunches are booked for a small group of four diners.
Transport, accommodation, other meals and any other activities are your own responsibility. With your permission, I’ll connect those attending in a WhatsApp group in case you want to coordinate any arrangements together but there’s no expectation for group participation outside of these two lunches.
Restaurant information
Barragunda Dining opened in 2025 and was awarded Good Food Guide’s Trailblazer Award, two Chef Hats and Time Out’s Destination Venue Award.
The 40-seat restaurant is a uniquely immersive experience: an intimate dining room in unison with the thriving market garden outside, forging a deep connection between diners and the earth’s abundance. A thoughtfully curated set menu showcases the best of what the farm has to offer each day, in collaboration with local producers and winemakers.
For the last 20 years, Ten Minute by Tractor has been known not only for its wines but for exceptional dining, and it has the Chef Hats to prove it. The restaurant is an extension of the same philosophy that guides its wines — a deep connection to place, a respect for the seasons, and the alchemy between food and wine. From this year, the restaurant experience continues to evolve under Head Chef Craig Lunn, whose perspective — shaped by time in some of the UK and Europe’s most respected Michelin-starred kitchens — brings a new dimension to our focus on the beauty of the Mornington Peninsula, its produce and wines.

Once I have names in the waitlist, I’ll send you a ‘Meetup Message’ to confirm if you have a spot and how to pay. The cancellation fee for each restaurant is the full menu cost ($160+$195=$355).
I’m asking for an initial $100 deposit to secure your seat and then I’ll follow up for the $255 balance one week prior to the event.
The set menu cost will then be deducted from your bill for each lunch.
Once the deposit is paid, I’ll move you from the waitlist to going. Join the waitlist to express interest.
As these are small group events, there are often more Fine Diners interested than there are seats available. My approach to hosting an event is to share seats around amongst members of the group in as fair a manner as I can, including mixing Fine Diners regulars with newcomers. Please be respectful if there are events when you miss out on a spot.
I will always message you so you know if you have secured a seat or are still waitlisted in case a seat opens up. Please check that you don’t have your settings blocking messages; if I can’t contact you, I’ll have to move on to the next person. Also if you don’t respond to my message offering you a spot within 3 days, I’ll let you know that I’m offering the seat to another person on the waitlist.
I look forward to enjoying a couple of wonderful lunches with you!
