Hike 10 km Mount Macedon to Camels Hump
Details
FREE EVENT
This is a beautiful and scenic out-and-back hike that traverses the Macedon Ranges from the Mount Macedon Memorial Cross area to the region's highest peak, Camels Hump. The track features a steep, rocky final ascent to the summit, which will elevate your heart rate. Much of the trail follows well-defined fire tracks, passing through cool, shaded forest. The rewarding panoramic views from both peaks over the Macedon Ranges and the surrounding area are truly breathtaking.
The hike is relatively easy and has 220 metres of elevation gain.
Note: this hike will be done in collaboration with Meetup group Melbourne Hiking, Nature & Outdoor.
