Details

Ride: A midweek ride from Docklands to St Albans where we'll have lunch and be back by mid afternoon. St Albans has some of the best Bánh Mì around.

We head north via Moonee Ponds Creek Path to Gowanbrae to join the M80 Ring Road path and follow it west to Keilor Park. Then a quick visit into Brimbank Park and out the other side to Greens Rd and soon after into St Albans. The way back follows Kororoit Creek Trail to Sunshine where we'll take the Sunshine Rail Path to Footscray and Footscray Rd path to town.

Total distance: 62 km. All sealed

Type of bike: Nothing too heavy. Firm tyre pressures will help a lot for this distance. E-bikes okay.

Speed: 22-25 max on the paths where safe. (Not too slow)
