Ride: This is a one-way ride of 103 kms from Geelong to Melbourne. We take a Vline train to Waurn Ponds (Myki required) and ride back on a mixture of paths, streets and country back roads. A few hills in Geelong's suburbs will warm us up and we will keep a reasonable pace up for the same reason.
Meet: On the platform or on the train for the
9:10 Southern Cross to Waurn Ponds, arriving 10:30
Please be early so we can get our bikes on the train in the same carriage.
Riders:
Suits Upper Intermediate riders or above, capable of 25 - 30 kmh typical speeds on conventional lightweight road bikes only.
Lunch: Lara - inside the shopping centre / bakery cafe
