Leaving Guildford, passing the castle, we’ll take the pilgrims way up to St. Martha’s (aka the easy way) before a lunch stop at the picturesque village of Shere, after which we’ll loop round Little London and Blackheath, then take in some spectacular Surrey views on the way back to Guildford.

Please bring a packed lunch, there will be an optional pub stop at the end.

Travel: Take 09:45 from London Waterloo (09:52 Clapham Junction) arr. Guildford 10:24.
Meet outside the station, will wait for people queuing for the toilet.

Grading: Moderate.
