**Synopsis:**
Philip Meyer will unpack the important differences between using AI as a consumer versus using it in a business setting—especially when it comes to privacy, compliance, and responsible use. He’ll share real stories from organisations he’s worked with, including some that lost data by using public AI tools for work, and others that jumped into Microsoft Copilot without first setting up the right guardrails. Philip will also highlight how highly regulated businesses—like those in legal, finance, or healthcare—are successfully using generative AI by connecting it to trusted internal systems and carefully curating the content it draws from. His session is especially valuable for CEOs and Business Unit Managers looking to lead with confidence in this space as well as helping change managers and adoption leads understand how to guide their organisations safely and confidently into the world of AI. It may also challenge traditional IT-led approaches that favour broad toolsets over strategic, business-aligned AI adoption.
