DC Bike Party - 10 mile group ride from Dupont

This isn't my event, but I'm going and many of you should check it out. BIKE PARTY is a delightfully friendly, yet bonkers cabal of cycling enthusiasts and activists that hold monthly group rides in several cities. The DC Bike Party is very well organized and has dozens of volunteers who help manage traffic and keep everyone safe.

Still, this is a 5-block-long plume of over 500 cyclists and is absolutely silly. Come along and bear witness for yourself. The ride will likely be about 10 miles, with a stop in the middle and an afterparty at some bar.

The group meets at Dupont Circle at 7:30 and begins the ride at 8:00. I will be there in a gray Mmmm Hiking shirt and an orange Yamaha Bike.
