White Rock Canyon Soda Springs Loop

Join me on this classic 7-mile loop hike across the Caja del Rio developed by Mark Dunham, Southwest Explorers League. This hike starts at the lower end of Diablo Canyon where we will hike up a historic trail to Sagebrush Flats (600 feet ascent). We will follow Mark's route across the flats to intersect another historic trail that is carved into White Rock Canyon leading down to Soda Springs (800 feet descent). We will follow an abandoned road upstream to Buckman where we will have parked another vehicle.
Everyone will be placed on a waiting list and those that have hiked with me before will be given preference.
We will meet in the parking lot behind Market Street grocery store in DeVargas Mall. Market Street is located at the northwest end of the mall. I will park near the entrance to the parking lot. Dark grey Toyota 4Runner. 505-699-2546.
