All are welcome for thirty minutes of chat followed by an hour of silent writing time!
Each person will have fifteen minutes to share their work for critique at the end if they would like. Or we can just chat about writing, books, movies etc for the remainder of the time.
Whether you're working a novel, poetry, screenplay, fanfiction, nonfiction, or something else altogether, we will provide a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for all writers.
Rules:
- All different kinds of writing and genres are welcome but no hate speech of any kind will be tolerated.
- Authors are required to state any relevant content warnings before reading as a courtesy to our peers.
- Moderators may ask that any work containing adult content which may not be appropriate to be read aloud in the cafe (very spicy scenes, extreme violence, etc) can be shared electronically or printed. This may be requested on a case by case basis as a courtesy to the other cafe patrons.
