Let’s talk about our experiences, both of helping others and of being helped.
Who have you helped and what help did you give them? Was your help effective? Was the helped person grateful?
Have there been people (relatives, friends or strangers) who have memorably helped you. What form did the help take (eg. Advice, generosity, counselling, physical help etc)
Do you give to charities? What about beggars on the street?
Do any of us work in helping roles (or want to)? e.g. Doctors, nurses, dentists, carers etc.
As usual, feel free to arrive from 19:00 onwards; the discussion begins at 19:30
