I last did this in February 2023, so time for another introduction.
A simple 4.5/5 mile walk from Merrow to Newlands Corner via fields, woods and Guildford Golf Club. We might even see some nice houses,
There is a slope up to Newlands Corner and once there we can stop and use the facilities for 15/20 minutes before the return having admired the glorious view.
Please wear sensible shoes as there are some stony parts underfoot along with some leaves and perhaps some puddles.
The car park is opposite the Horse and Groom pub on the main road and there is loads of parking on Merrow Street which is a residential road with a dead end.
