NJveg - Vegan Advocacy and Social Events

Going to the AVS Garden Party? Let's meet up there!

Join NJveg for a vegan potluck picnic at Arney's Mount Park (info), 150 Juliustown Rd (at Tower Dr, GPS coordinates 40.01042, -74.70851). Followed by an optional easy hike/walk, the 121st in our hiking/walking + vegan dining series!

NJveg members: Free*; Non-members: $2* (going toward pavilion rental). *Be green - avoid a $1/person surcharge if you bring reusable place settings! (We will have extras.) Please review our potluck guidelines. Volunteers needed for setup (at 12:30pm) and cleanup.

NJveg will answer questions and provide free literature on the benefits of a plant-based life. Come out for an hour, or the entire event. Help spread the word that going vegan saves animals, protects the environment, and improves your health! No experience is necessary. We particularly need help setting up (at 8:45am) and packing up (to about 3:30pm). Please let us know what times you are available.

Have a dog? Like dogs? Join NJveg in exploring the 5-star Rosedale Dog Park! This is the 2nd stop on Tour de Dog Park, orchestrated by NJveg member Tatiana. Please bring your beautiful beasts. If you don’t have one, you too are welcome to come and just enjoy the dogs. Bring vegan snacks for the 2- and 4-legged. Rain cancels.
