The Sunshine Coast’s most iconic Christmas celebration turns 61 this year — and yes… Santa really does drop from the sky.

Peregian Beach Carols is the Coast’s longest-running and most-loved festive event, drawing thousands for coastal music, community spirit and that legendary sky-diving Santa landing.

We’ll arrive later to enjoy golden hour, Santa’s arrival and the full music line-up.

• 3 pm – Carols officially begin
Food vendors, market stalls and early performances open the afternoon.
• 5 pm – Our Meetup Arrival
Meet on the grass area outside Peregian Beach Surf Life Saving Club.

• 6 pm – Sky-Diving Santa
The adventurous man in red parachutes onto the beach (weather permitting).
• 7 pm – Raw Ordio
Big Sunshine Coast summer energy.
• 7:30 pm – DJ Soul Fusion
Sunset beats and festive vibes as the light drops.
• 8 pm – Close
