Hollyburn Mountain Hike
Intermediate Snowshoeing & Microspike Adventure
# Overview
Embark on an invigorating intermediate-level hike to the summit of Hollyburn Mountain! This adventure promises not only a good workout but also the possibility of breathtaking vistas overlooking Vancouver and the rugged North Shore mountains.
## Hike Details
· Difficulty: Moderate (Intermediate)
· Recommended Gear: Snowshoes or microspikes/crampons
· Trail Popularity: Very popular for snowshoeing and winter hiking
· Views: Potential for spectacular panoramic views, weather permitting
While Hollyburn Mountain is generally considered a snowshoeing route, many hikers manage the ascent using microspikes or crampons, particularly given the trail's popularity and typically packed snow conditions. However, winter hiking in the North Shore mountains can be unpredictable—so it's always best to bring your snowshoes just in case. Safety and preparedness come first!
## Post-Hike Gathering
After conquering the summit, those interested are invited to join us for a well-deserved lunch at Kazba Persian Restaurant, located at 132 16th Street W, North Vancouver. It's a wonderful opportunity to warm up, relax, and share stories from the hike over delicious Persian cuisine.
