Hidden down a dark laneway in Northcote you’ll discover one of Melbourne’s best kept secrets. You’ll receive an email detailing how to get there, and if you decide not to tell your friends where you’re taking them, it’s even more fun. You’ll guide them down a spooky laneway and knock on an unmarked wooden door. Once it opens, take them into a graveyard, past a bottomless pit, and through an occupied coffin before the gold class luxury of The Laneway Theatre is revealed.

This is a magic show unlike anything you've ever seen before. In the style of the French horror theatre 'Grand Guignol', award-winning magician Tim Ellis tells the story of a psychopath looking back on his life and questioning his own reality.

Using projections, music, sound effects, minimal lighting and no dialogue... magic effects are incorporated to bring the most graphic corners of his imagination to life. This is unsettling, uncomfortable, and unforgettable.
