Stevie V Brown (https://www.linkedin.com/in/stevievbrown/)

Stevie V Brown is a Communications Specialist with 20 years’ experience. She had worked for some of the world’s most well-known advertising agencies, including Saatchi & Saatchi and McCann Erickson, and has worked on some of the world’s most famous brands, including Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, L’Oréal, Samsung, and Visa. Stevie is a professional Coach and NLP Practitioner having obtained internationally recognised formal coaching qualifications with The Life Coaching Academy. She is a Government funded Business Advisor; Presenter for Bizversity; Round table Expert for Dale Beaumont’s Business Blueprint; Board Member of a NFP; and is currently studying a masters degree in Digital Marketing. Through her two businesses; The Change Starter® - a Business Communications Consultancy; and PitchVest® - a pitch creation and coaching service; Stevie is focused on helping the “big business of tomorrow” kickstart their growth through the power of effective business communications.

THE PITCH PROCESS
Pitches are 5-7min, warning bell at 5min and 'the plug is pulled' at 7min.

Judges will have 5min or so Q&A and so a whole pitch should take 15min including swap over.

2. Dr. Samuel Lackey (https://www.linkedin.com/in/samuel-lackey-702643117/)

Dr. Samuel Lackey was a director of investment assurance at Transport of NSW (https://www.transport.nsw.gov.au). In the early days, he was the director of venture capital at ATG. To give an example, he invested 1.5Mil in a data system (with expected IRR at 55%) which was sold to TABCOROP 5 years later. Dr. Lackey is also a McKinsey (https://www.mckinsey.com) Alumni and is currently sitting on the board of Stanford Australia Association Committee (http://stanford.org.au). We are very privileged to have him as one of our judges.

Eitan landed in Sydney in 2001 after couple of years' working in the Silicon Valley as a strategic investment manager at Intel Capital. Eitan is a pioneer in the Artificial Intelligence - Internet of Thing industry in Australia. As the founder of Everything IoT (https://everythingiot.com.au) who partners with CBA, Microsoft, Transport of NSW, Stone & Chalk, Telstra, KPMG, CSIRO, UTS and etc., Eitan has run Start-Up showcase and Global Summits which drew a crowd of 500 people particularly in 2016 and 2017. He is also a managing director at Sigma Ventures (https://www.sigmaventures.co) who sparked Innovation and invests in the most innovative Australian start-ups ready to scale globally. To encourage and promote the innovative culture in Australia, Eitan also joined Spark Festival as a non-Executive director. Spark Festival (http://sparkfestival.co) provides Australia’s largest event for startups, innovators and entrepreneurs and training programs. The attendees are getting started, or going global.
