About us
We’re a friendly, relaxed social group for meeting new people and getting out and doing something in and around Norwich.
The group has been running since August 2015 and brings together people from all sorts backgrounds.
Our regular events include midweek drinks, coffee meetups, pub quizzes and other social events, with more activities and different types of events being added throughout the year.
Most of our members are in their 20s and 30s, but we’re not strict about age. If you feel like the group is a good fit for you, you’re welcome to come along.
You also don’t need to speak English as your first language. We have members from all over the world and everyone is welcome.
Coming on your own is completely normal. Plenty of people attend their first event without knowing anyone, and our organisers and regular members will do their best to help you settle in.
If you have an idea for an event you’d like to organise, just get in touch with one of the organisers.
Group Guidelines
- Be respectful. Everyone is entitled to their own views, but behaviour that targets, victimises or deliberately makes other members uncomfortable may result in removal from the group.
- Respect people's boundaries. Harassment, unwanted attention or behaviour that makes somebody uncomfortable is not acceptable.
- This is a friendship and social group, not a dating group.
- Use a recognisable profile photo where possible. It makes it much easier for organisers and other members to find you at events.
- Keep your RSVP up to date. If you can no longer attend, please change your RSVP as soon as possible. No-shows can take spaces away from people who wanted to come.
- Guests are welcome where the event allows it, but please check the individual event details before bringing someone along.
- If something doesn’t feel right, tell an organiser. If you experience or witness behaviour that goes against these guidelines, please speak to the event organiser.
- Most importantly, come along, meet people and enjoy yourself.
