December 22nd OT Jam: Different Format

Park Slope location: St. Thomas Aquinas Church: 249 9th Street, Brooklyn (entrance on 4th Ave and 8th street) in Park Slope. Take the G/F/R to 4th Avenue and it's a block away!

The OT Learning Jam takes place twice a month, on the second and fourth Monday of each month.
This month, members will lead all the tunes - without one central leader. If you're a fiddle player and comfortable leading a few tunes, come with two to lead. In January Jennifer will return to lead the jam. Let's celebrate all we've learned and connect with each other!

Who should attend: Fiddle, clawhammer banjo, guitar (rhythm), or mandolin players! Upright bass is welcome too (no electric bass, please), though we have a regular bass player who can take turns with you. This is a learning environment. We start out playing slowly and then we speed up to what might be a challenging pace for some. We learn a few new tunes each session. Rhythm guitar players -- we need you!
