Come, Friends! Dear dancing hearts!

This Friday the 13th of February… we dance!

On this day (before the cultural swell of grand gestures of love), we'll turn together toward something more essential - our ongoing practice of tending the heart - not only when it overflows, but when it is weary, guarded, hopeful, healing, opening again.

So fitting to gather on a day long wrapped in superstition, yet named for Freya, goddess of love and fierce devotion - touched by Venus, keeper of the relational heart - and accompanied by the mysterious 13, a number tied to cycles of creation, renewal, and becoming. What a day to bid a dancing farewell to the Year of the Wood Snake before the Fire Horse arrives next week.

Our spacious, evocative, eclectic soundscape will encourage us to dance with tenderness as a courageous, embodied response to living in volatile and vulnerable times. What wants care, rhythm, breath, and movement right now? Whatever arrives — we’ll tend it together through the dance.
Tomás and I are overjoyed to return to you - beloved friends and community - after nearly a year since our last dancing visit there together (and three years since we moved away!? how is it possible?).

I’ll be offering a lovingly held Open Floor container where all parts of us are welcome - the guarded, the grieving, the loving, the uncertain, the quietly brave. I’ll drop a few seeds of inquiry to enliven our practice together for the evening.

Please arrive a bit early if you can swing it, so we have plenty of time to land and orient together as we enter our sacred dance.
