Let's Go to the BEACH! Sandy Hook National Park

I was impressed by the hiking/biking trails at Sandy Hook by the the beach. The plan is to do a 7-10 mile out & back hike on the main trail. We will experience some nice ocean views, wooded areas, river an bay views, old Nike missile site as well as enjoying nature. The trail will lead us to the oldest WORKING lighthouse in the US. Depending on weather & time we can also walk around old Fort Hancock. We will meet at BEACH 2 parking area close the the pavilion. Unfortunately rest rooms are closed.
