Riverside Walk - Woolwich to Parramatta ~24 KM

Join us for a scenic 24km hike along the Parramatta River. This moderate-paced walk goes through stunning riverside trails, historical churches and some inclines. Good fitness is recommended due to the distance and pace of 4.5kmph, with some short breaks.
Before you RSVP, be sure to read the following:
- Difficulty: Medium to Hard (experienced walkers recommended), mostly flat.
- Start: 9:15 AM at Woolwich Wharf - Meet outside the exit. You can take the ferry from Circular Quay Wharf 5 departing at 8:45 AM - check the time a day before and be early.
- Finish: 4 PM, Parramatta Wharf (or walk to Harris Park for some Indian meals)
- Route: We'll start by exploring the charming streets and historical churches of Woolwich and Hunter Hill, before arriving at Boronia Park. Following some scenic riverside paths, we'll make our way through Morrison Bay Park, Putney, Meadowbank, and Rydalmere, ending in Parramatta. There are multiple exit options if needed.
- What to Bring: Wear comfortable shoes, bring ample hydration (1.5+ litres - refill available at stops), snacks/lunch, sunscreen, hat, and weather protection.
- Gratuity: A $5 contribution is appreciated to help cover our Meetup subscription and group running costs. Carry Cash or ask for PayID.

- Arrive early – All route/gear info is in the description; hosts can’t field messages during the event.
