Let’s explore the forests of the Chevreuse Valley on a scenic spring hike from Bures-sur-Yvette to Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse.
We’ll walk through lush green forests in full spring atmosphere, with fresh leaves, vibrant vegetation, and a calm, refreshing feel throughout the trail. Passing through the charming village of Courcelle-sur-Yvette, we’ll follow sections of the GR® routes that cross the valley, combining peaceful woodland paths with occasional open viewpoints.
The route takes us through the Parc naturel régional de la Haute Vallée de Chevreuse, with a mix of shaded forest and rolling countryside. Along the way, we’ll pass near small hamlets and quiet rural paths typical of the region, before reaching Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse, where the landscape opens up with wider views over the valley.
