Dispelling Fear with the Sound of HU

At this Sound of Soul Event, you are invited to join others in chanting HU, an ancient mantra for about twelve minutes, followed by a short time in contemplation. This will be followed by a spiritual discussion where you’re invited to share experiences, exchange ideas, and ask questions.

HU is a sacred mantra—the Sound behind all sounds. An ancient name for God, HU is a carrier of love between God and Soul. Singing HU can bring healing for body, mind, and spirit. It enables you to open your heart to experience the miracles that occur when you give and receive love.

Afterwards, enjoy an open spiritual discussion on any questions, insights and experiences that you may have.

Fellowship is your chance to meet with old friends, meet new ones, share stories, and laugh a lot. Sometimes these spontaneous moments are where the deepest connections and conversations happen. You are invited to attend an in-person workshop sponsored by Eckankar in New York City titled “Exploring Dreams as a Source of Higher Guidance and Insight” to be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, 7:00 pm–8:30 pm. This event will take place at Quest Bookshop, 240 East 53rd Street, New York, NY 10022.
At this workshop we hope to explore the following questions:
• Are Dreams Real?
• Where Do Dreams Come From?
• Why is it important to remember our dreams?
• Why don’t we always remember our dreams?
• Why do they often not make sense?
• How can understanding our dreams assist us in our spiritual growth and awareness?Are you looking for people who love sharing dreams? If so, you will find a community of like-minded, openhearted Spiritual Dreamers who welcome you warmly at this workshop.
In this 90-minute hands-on event, we invite you to recognize and share some of the valuable spiritual experiences that you are already having.At this workshop, you will have the opportunity to:
—Try practical, enjoyable exercises to remember and interpret your dreams.
—Learn how inner dream teachers or spiritual guides offer help and protection.
