Oldies VS Funk Dance Night

Music starts at 10 pm so I was thinking it might be fun to meet at the bar at 9 pm to give everyone a chance to chat and get to know each other a bit first.

Everyone will go on a waitlist and I will move folks over to "attending" from there.

A heads-up that the DJs won’t be able to take requests because they are spinning records and not playing music off a laptop.

Some ground rules:

• If you ask someone to dance or get asked, please know that ‘yes’ and ‘no’ are totally valid answers that don’t require explanation (and anything that isn’t a yes is a no). But if at first you don’t succeed, dust yourself off and try again…by asking someone else to dance.
• All the normal Community Rules for the group apply, such as being respectful and kind, no harassing or overly forward behavior, don't touch anyone without explicit verbal consent, etc. If anyone breaks these rules or makes you feel uncomfortable, let me (Cory) (or a Donnie Vegas employee) know as soon as possible.
