Building Community Connection and Resilience - Hosted by Permaculture Matters
Details
You’re warmly invited to join us for a special evening of deep listening, an experiential workshop exploring how listening can become a powerful pathway to connection, healing, and resilience, both personally and within our communities.
This session offers a safe and supportive space to learn and practise deep listening skills together. Through guided exercises, we’ll explore how simply being present with one another can help us process feelings, build trust, and strengthen our ability to collaborate and support each other.
Deep listening is a practice that nurtures resilience and creates opportunities for genuine personal growth. By learning to listen without judgement, we open the door to healing old wounds, building authentic relationships, and strengthening the foundations of a more compassionate community.
The workshop draws on methods from Reevaluation Counseling, including the work of Sustaining All Life, and is grounded in an inclusive and respectful approach to shared learning.
The evening will be co-facilitated by Jen Hall and Tom Colley.
Jen brings more than 30 years of experience in peer counselling and has facilitated many workshops, meetings, and support groups using inclusive frameworks. Tom has a background in environmental management and activism, and has researched and taught eco-social capacity building at Western Sydney University.
If you’ve been looking for a meaningful way to connect, reflect, and learn alongside others in a supportive environment, we would love to have you join us.
