AI agents can now do a week's work while your team sleeps. The hard part isn't the tech any more. It's how you lead, decide and check.

Your teams are probably already using AI. What's coming next is different: agents that work alone for hours while your people decide, check and steer. Is your organisation ready for that?

Andy has watched this arrive from the people side. Four years ago, as an Agile Coach, he started asking what AI would do to software teams. Recently, he left an agent working for 30 hours. It delivered seven features while he was nowhere near his desk.

The tech held up. What made it work was human: a clear brief, an agreed meaning of "done", and firm limits on what the agent could touch. Those are leadership skills, not coding skills.

This is a plain-English talk for CTOs, CIOs, BAs, PMs and Change Managers. No code. We'll look at how roles change when doing becomes deciding, why a BA with a working prototype beats a 40-page spec, how much to trust an agent, what it really costs and what it has the potential to deliver.

You'll leave knowing where your organisation sits on the AI maturity ladder, and with three things to start tomorrow morning.
