Looking to enjoy the vibrant arts and social scene in Perth? Join our Meetup group for dining out, wine tastings, movie nights, gallery visits, cultural activities, and more. Whether you're a film lover, bookworm, art enthusiast, or simply looking to meet like-minded individuals, our group offers something for everyone. From exploring the fine arts at galleries to indulging in dinner, theatres and tea socials, we have a variety of events to suit your interests. Join us for a mix of day and night outings that celebrate culture, ethnicity, and the arts in Perth.
If you RSVP 'going' and are unable to attend, please update your RSVP and send a message to the host to let them know that your plans have changed and you will be unable to attend. Please don't RSVP 'going' and then not show up; it's not fair to the host and the group. No shows will result in removal from the group.
Please feel free to suggest events for the group. I'm keen on low-cost or free events to maximise participation, as there's a cost-of-living crisis.

Book Club and Brunch

The book we will be reading this month is Gravity Let Me Go by Trent Dalton.
Trent Dalton is an Australian journalist and author. He wrote Boy Swallows Universe, a semi-autobiographical coming-of-age story, which was made into a Netflix series.
Gravity Let Me Go is his latest book, which I'm excited to read, given that I enjoyed Boy Swallows Universe so much.

This is a mixed gender, all-ages, open group, so we read books that are quite broad in their appeal.
We meet in a cafe in or around the city, we've met before at Ekiben in North Perth and Dine by Arrival Hall in Northbridge. If you have any suggestions for cafes, please message me through the chat. It needs to be a place that's easily accessible, not too noisy, and accepts group reservations.
Please keep your RSVPs up-to-date; if you have a change in plans, that's fine, but no-shows will result in removal from the group.
